Breastfeeding Support Group that meets biweekly. Please call Jennifer McCauley, RN, IBCLC @541-387-6344 or Ellen Mallon, RN, IBCLC @ 541-387-7131.
The Columbia Gorge Breastfeeding Coalition has formed a mother-to-mother support group to offer a place to turn during this important time. The group is conducted by a trained facilitator who listens and guides the discussion. Our goals for this group:
-
Share breastfeeding information and personal experiences.
-
Mutually support and learn from each other.
-
Increase women’s ability and confidence to nourish their babies.
-
Discuss successful strategies for mothers returning to work while breastfeeding.
We are excited to begin this important community service during World Breastfeeding Week! We will meet twice a month, same time and place.
Please come and enjoy and offer support in an environment of ease and respect. For more information including meeting times and location., please call Jennifer McCauley, RN, IBCLC @ 541-387-6344 or Ellen Mallon, RN, IBCLC @541-387-7131.
Let’s support each other to breastfeed our babies!
